1. About These Terms

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Little Legendz website (littlelegendz.com) and portrait generation service. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. The Service

Little Legendz provides an AI-powered portrait generation service. You upload a photograph, select a storybook theme, and our system generates an illustrated portrait inspired by your photo. The service produces artistic interpretations, not photographic reproductions. Portraits are “inspired by” the uploaded photo and may not be an exact likeness.

3. Eligibility

The service is intended for use by adults (aged 18 and over) on behalf of children. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the right to upload the photograph you provide (i.e., it is your child, or you have permission from the child's parent or guardian).

4. Free Preview & Paid Products

You may generate and view a free watermarked preview of your portrait at no cost. You may regenerate previews with different themes or photos for free. The watermarked preview is for evaluation purposes only and may not be used commercially or reproduced as a print.

To receive the full, unwatermarked, high-resolution portrait, you must complete a purchase. The current price is displayed on the website at the time of purchase.

5. Payment & Pricing

All prices are displayed in British pounds (GBP) and include any applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept UK debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.

6. Digital Downloads

On successful payment, you will receive a download link via email and on the confirmation page. Download links are valid for 7 days. The portrait is delivered as a high-resolution PNG file suitable for printing.

We recommend downloading your portrait promptly. If your download link expires, please contact us at hello@littlelegendz.com and we will reissue it.

7. Refund Policy

As a digital product, once you have downloaded your portrait, a refund is not available. This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital content.

However, if you are unhappy with the quality of your portrait, we will regenerate it for free using the same photo with an adjusted theme or prompt. Please contact us at hello@littlelegendz.com and we will work with you to produce a portrait you are happy with.

8. Licence & Usage Rights

When you purchase a portrait, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the portrait for:

Personal use: Displaying in your home, setting as a phone or computer wallpaper, or sharing on personal social media accounts.

Gift use: Printing and framing the portrait as a gift for family and friends.

You may not use purchased portraits for commercial purposes, resell them, or use them in any way that implies endorsement by Little Legendz.

9. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any photograph you provide. You must not upload photos of children who are not your own (or for whom you do not have parental consent). You must not upload photos that are offensive, inappropriate, or illegal. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe a photo violates these requirements.

10. Intellectual Property

The Little Legendz brand, website design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Little Legendz. The AI prompt templates and artistic styles used in portrait generation are proprietary. You retain rights to the photograph you upload, and you receive a licence to the generated portrait as described in Section 8.

11. Limitation of Liability

Little Legendz is provided “as is.” While we strive to deliver high-quality portraits, we cannot guarantee that every portrait will meet your expectations, as AI-generated art is inherently variable. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.

12. Service Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by service downtime.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
